MY STORY

Where I come from.

I didn't learn how to set a business up digitally at an agency. I did it myself, first on my own account and then for almost six years at one of Europe's most successful startups.

I started out self-employed, with IT and my own online retail business. Early on I saw both sides of what matters: technology only counts when someone can operate it day to day, and an offer only sells when it's clear and easy to find online.

In the startup years I was right in the middle of it as everything grew fastest, in front of an audience that watched around the clock. Later I was responsible for the communication of an in-house tech product and built the marketing, the social media and the websites myself. That is how a unicorn works, and it is exactly that pace I now bring to small businesses.

I also learned there what communication under pressure means. When something goes wrong and the situation is unclear, a clear and honest answer still has to go out within minutes. I bring that calm to every project.

Today I bring both together, the technology from the IT years and the modern marketing from the startup years. As a one-person business I combine deep technical skills with modern marketing, without the overhead of a classic agency. This is exactly the mix I build and look after for businesses that have no IT or marketing department of their own.

Technology only counts once it runs in everyday work and someone can explain it.

WHAT THIS IS ABOUT

Small businesses can do far more online today, with far less.

The tools that used to require an in-house department or an expensive agency just a few years ago are more accessible than ever. A small business can come across online just as confidently as it actually works, and needs hardly any resources of its own once the right things are set up properly.

This is exactly where my mix comes in. I think like a marketer and build like an engineer. One without the other rarely helps, because a nice website without a plan fizzles out and a clever tool without a story reaches no one. Together they become a presence that really moves something.

It is not about turning your business upside down. It is about you using new technology like AI in a sensible way. Right now, when what is possible changes month by month, you want someone at your side who sorts the new from the noise, picks what makes sense and stays on it. I work with my clients for the long run, as a partner and not as a supplier.

What you can hold me to.

I am one person, not a team with a sales department. That means fewer big promises, and instead someone who stays responsible, long after the website goes live.

01

I'LL TALK YOU OUT OF THINGS.

If something is too big, too expensive or simply unnecessary, I say so, even if it costs me the job.

02

I SPEAK PLAINLY.

You understand what I build and why, without jargon and without having to google anything.

03

YOU ALWAYS TALK TO ME.

No sales, no ticket system, no handover to third parties. Whoever builds it is the one who picks up.

04

YOU STAY INDEPENDENT.

Logins, code and data are yours. You can keep working without me anytime.

What I don't do.

No off-the-shelf website-builder sites, there are cheaper providers for that.

No AI for the sake of AI. It only comes in where it demonstrably saves time.

No hourly rates without a plan. I sell results, not time.
